EVM Group and the University of La Laguna (ULL) brought together 48 participants through four Colloquial Talks organised in Tenerife between March and July 2026, as part of Work Package 2 (WP2) of the Erasmus+ PIPE project.
These activities aimed to encourage dialogue among educators, researchers and professionals working with migrants, refugees and asylum seekers, while introducing practical tools developed by PIPE to support social inclusion and intercultural learning.
The first session, “Crossing Thresholds”, took place on 10 March at the University of La Laguna, bringing together 16 participants to explore creative and sensory approaches to socio-educational research with young migrants.
On 24 April, CEPA La Farola hosted a second session with 11 adult education teachers. Discussions focused on the PIPE Toolkit, intercultural competences, soft skills and practical resources for supporting the educational and social inclusion of adult migrants.
The third talk, held on 5 June at CEPA Isora, involved 15 participants and addressed sustainability in the classroom and everyday life. The session explored how environmental awareness and sustainable practices can be integrated into adult education, alongside the presentation of PIPE’s educational resources.
Finally, on 15 July, EVM Group organised an online session with Fundación Don Bosco, involving six professionals coordinating projects for migrants. Participants explored the PIPE Toolkit, the Moodle learning platform and the mobile application, sharing feedback on their usefulness and potential application in professional practice.
The main outcome of these exchanges was the opportunity to connect the project’s digital resources with the practical needs of professionals working directly with migrant communities. Discussions highlighted the importance of accessible, adaptable educational materials, intercultural awareness and collaboration between educational institutions and social organisations.
Through these Colloquial Talks, EVM Group and ULL strengthened cooperation with local stakeholders and contributed to PIPE’s objective of promoting more inclusive, practical and sustainable approaches to migrant integration.
