On March 25th and 26th, teams involved in the PIPE project convened at EVM’s headquarters in Santa Cruz de Tenerife for the official project launch.
This initial face-to-face gathering represented all partners, with the exception of HMU, whose team of six participated via Google Meet throughout the working sessions. Each partner had the chance to introduce themselves and their organizations.
The agenda was packed, covering numerous important topics. On the first day, EVM led discussions focused primarily on management and financial matters, including reporting, the approval of the management handbook, the steering committee, and collaboration on refining the project’s qualitative indicators. The day concluded with an examination of WP2—our current focus—specifically deliverables 2.2 and 2.3. ULL, as the lead for this work package, reviewed the tasks and milestones, emphasizing those currently in development.
Day two was dedicated to the remaining three work packages of the project. Each session was facilitated by the lead organizations of these packages, providing presentations that clarified the objectives, planned activities, and expected outcomes. MAG, leading WP5, which focuses on sharing results and promotion, outlined their plan, detailing the target group analysis and chosen social media channels. A comprehensive overview of the communication activities was also shared.
Overall, the meeting provided a valuable opportunity for team members to connect face-to-face as they embark on the next three years of collaboration toward achieving the ambitious goals set for the PIPE project.
